The Color Dash is the world’s brightest and most colorful non-competitive 5K. Begin the run/walk squeaky clean and at each kilometer on the route, you’ll be showered with colorful powder. Once you reach the finish line, you’ll be covered in color and look like you just jumped out of a rainbow! Sounds like fun right?
The Color Dash is being held May 23rd at Watson Lake Park. Activities kick off at 8:30am and you’ll want to get there on time to take part in an easy to learn dance competition, hula-hoop contest and other contests with awesome swag bags. The race and color explosion starts at 10:30.
Not only is the Color Dash an awesome, family friendly, safe (colored powder is 100% non-toxic), and super colorful event – it’s for a good cause! This year, the dash supports the children of Arizona by donating 50% of every ticket purchased to Prevent Child Abuse Arizona.
