Looking for a family-friendly outing to do on August 18, 2016? Consider attending the last event of the 2016 Central Arizona Concert Band Summer Series. This event will be held outdoors where you and your family and friends can bring your blankets, chairs and enjoy some fine music.
This cool organization provides a place for musicians of all ages to perform for community members.
Perhaps you do not know what a concert band is. A concert band can be commonly known as a wind ensemble, symphonic band, wind symphony, wind orchestra, wind band, symphonic winds, symphonic band, or a symphonic wind ensemble.
Basically, it is woodwinds, brass and percussion. Good music! Where else can you go to a park and get a musical band playing to you for FREE? Only in Prescott, AZ!
When asked what music selection we liked, we jumped onto their website and started listening. If you want to preview the Central Arizona Concert Band’ music, you can visit their website directly at http://centralarizonaconcertband.com/listen-to-cacb/. One of my favorite songs on their website is Elegy For A Young American by Ronald Lo Presti.
