Weekend Events to Kick-off Summer
Summer is proving to be filled with lots of activities in Prescott and that starts with a couple weekend events to kick off the month of June.
First is the Woof Down Lunch event from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 4.
Bring your dog to this fun event and listen to live music, let your kids have fun with various activities and of course, pamper your pooch. There will be dog obedience demonstrations, agility and K-9 unit demonstrations and various dog contests.
Also featured at the event will be adoptable dog introductions.
The event is free, but a $20 people/pet ticket includes a handcrafted pet bowl, pet food samples, and a picnic lunch from Crossroads Cafe. For more information about this event click HERE. Proceeds benefit United Animal Friends programs.
The event takes place at Courthouse Square, 20 South Cortez St., Prescott, AZ, 86303.
The next day, Sunday, June 5, enjoy Antiques on the Square from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Visit historic downtown Prescott to enjoy the ambiance, weather, history and great antiques shopping. Designated as one of America’s great public spaces, the Courthouse Plaza will be the setting for approximately 80 antique dealers offering glass, pottery furniture, jewelry, textiles, primitives, unique surprises and much more.
