Living with the Past – A Tribute to Jethro Tull

World-renowned Jethro Tull band, Living with the Past makes a return visit to the Elks Theater on Friday, Sept. 16th.  NY-based Living with the Pastperforms their live music celebration of classic rock titans, Jethro Tull, with full concentration on the music without the sometimes overdone gimmicks of tribute bands. With two lead guitarists in the group (including outstanding female guitarist, Carol Roehner, joined by local virtuoso Ron LoCurto), the band can pull off the great Jethro Tull guitar harmonies to give their performances a true Tull studio sound live. The performance is energetic, intense, and entertaining, and the skilled musicians perform the music with style and heartfelt musicality. Their shows highlight the Jethro Tull heydays of the 70s, playing songs from their highly acclaimed classic rock albums, including mega hits like Aqualung, Locomotive Breath, Cross-eyed Mary, Teacher, Bungle in the Jungle, and much more.

Special guest, Grant Ferguson, will perform an opening set featuring the music of the amazing Jeff Beck.

This double bill is sure to be one of the most talked about shows of the season.
