More than 900 pampered and primped canines will descend on Prescott Valley during the Prescott Arizona Kennel Club’s AKC Championship Dog Show Sept. 18-20.  The club will be hosting 3 days of Obedience and Rally. There will be specialties on Friday and the All Breed Conformation Shows Saturday-Sunday.

Dog lovers, whether they share their homes with canine couch potatoes or best in show beauties, will find everything dog at these vendors – toys, treats, dog food, grooming aids, specialty scissors, trimmers, combs and brushes, floors mats, kennels, jewelry, artwork and more. Please note that NO un-entered dogs will be allowed on the premises.

A special event this year will be the unveiling on Saturday afternoon of the Arizona Humane Society AKC Pet Disaster Relief trailer, an emergency trailer that helps create a safe, temporary home-base for at least 65 pets immediately after a disaster is declared. The Prescott Arizona Kennel Club gave money to assist in the building and equipping of the new van, which can provide additional help in future situations all over the state. The van will be on display throughout the weekend.

The PAKC show starts at 8 a.m. each day, with Best in Show competition in the afternoon. Admission is free. So whether you’re a breeder, enthusiast, or a dog lover join the Prescott Arizona Kennel Club for their Annual Dog Show!
