Be a Character Of Nature at Summer Camp
It’s not too late to partake in a summer camp. Character of Nature camps are being offered through the end of July.
If you’re seeking an affordable summer opportunity that nurtures your children’s natural desire to learn and explore, this might be right for you.
Character Of Nature camps are multigenerational natural learning camps. Children work with coaches (e.g. teachers, parents, college students, retirees…) nurturing the social, emotional and physical well being of the child. Here, children cultivate their roots into fundamental values and virtues to discover who they are and grow wings to fly into who they desire to be – and to make a meaningful contribution to the world.
Children will develop many avenues of self-discovery at Character Of Nature camp. They include making music; singing; wood work; painting; handwork; make and write their own journal; creating, displaying, and selling their works; cooking; sustainable gardening; juggling/circus fun; tight rope walking; obstacle course fun; jump roping; creating and performing a theater production (skit); cooperative sports; building a sustainable structure on campus; build a shade structure; the list is as endless.
The camp is open to ages 6-14. Pre-registration is required. Register for one week or all nine weeks. Cost is $150.00 per week. Inquire about partial scholarship if needed.
Camp is from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday~Friday. Cost includes materials, a healthy snack, self-discovery and tons of fun.
Children please bring a healthy lunch, water bottles, hats, sunscreen and appropriate outdoor clothing and shoes.
Camp is held at Mountain Oak School, 1455 Willow Creek Rd. in Prescott. For more information, contact Daniele Ippoliti at 518-878-4837.
