All proceeds benefit Prescott Meals On Wheels (PMOW). PMOW creates major changes in our community by one simple meal, since 1973. Last year, over 125 volunteers helped deliver and serve over 58,000. Each delivery we make provides three fundamental services; a nutritious, home-delivered meal, a wellness check, and precious moments of conversation. Combined, these three services contribute to the ability to live independently for as long as possible with a sense of safety and security. Only 40 percent of home delivered meals served to all homebound seniors and disabled individuals referred to Prescott Meals On Wheels are underwritten.
Prescott Pizza Palooza will help fund a great need in our community! Just show up and eat! There are no refunds due to inclement weather on event day. Again, Thank you for supporting Prescott Meals On Wheels. Please go to our website for up-to-date information on pizza contestants and activities,prescottmealsonwheels.com.
You Have Never Seen Prescott Like This!
The Whiskey Off Road happens again on April 28-30 in Prescott, Arizona.
Choose to ride the Whiskey Off-Road. Participants can choose from three different distance options of 15, 30 or 50 miles; each consisting of a carefully set of trails set in beautiful in Prescott, AZ.
However, procrastinators should beware! Whiskey Off-Road registration is filling up quickly.
Would you like to see what the ride entails. Check it out here.
The race starts in Prescott’s historical (and sometimes very lively) Whiskey Row and climbing into the beautifully distracting views of Prescott National Forest. You can count on experiencing challenging and exhilarating singletrack and doubletrack, gravel road and some paved segments too.
During your time at the race you can also enjoy a fun three days full of event festivities. You might meet some of the coolest bike-minded people in the nation. The town will be filled with outdoor enthusiasts for sure.
The finish line for this race has probably never looked so good as this one has, with free live music at the downtown music festival and a gratis cold beverage from Four Peaks Brewing Company. Almost every participant finishes this race, though we can’t guarantee you won’t be tired at the end.
See some photos from the event in years past here. Please follow us on Facebook and post your event pictures here too.
We are sure you’ll have a grand time at the Whiskey River Off Road Race in 2017.
I hope you enjoyed this post and love the event.
