Prescott Frontier Days Parade
The Prescott Frontier Days Parade is at 9 a.m. July 2 at Courthouse Plaza. Thousands of spectators are expected to gather for the second-largest parade in the state (after the Fiesta Bowl parade). There are more than 200 entries, including the Rodeo Royalty court, with young women adorned in silver and multicolored beaded fringe astride equally decked-out equines; the Prescott Regulators and their Shady Ladies, wearing 1800s cowboy and saloon-girl garb; floats from area church and civic groups; and school marching bands. Country Western Superstar Tanya Tucker is the Grand Marshall of the 129th Prescott Frontier Days Rodeo!
4th of July Celebration
What is your favorite time about summer? One of the most exciting times of the year is almost here! 4th of July!!! Why? Fireworks, food, friends, family, and fun. What could be better?
This is a really great way to celebrate one of our team’s favorite summer activities at the Annual Prescott 4th of July celebration. Come enjoy Prescott’s Independence Day celebration this year with your friends and family at the Mile High Middle School Field.
Prescott’s Annual 4th of July celebration will include live music from these bands including:
- The Cross-Eyed Possums at 1 PM
- KDMA at 3 PM
- The Chuck Hall Band at 5 PM
- The Cheektones 7 PM
The part that people love most is the fireworks. They will take place at 9:00 PM on the roof of nearby Granite Street Parking Garage. You and your loved ones will be able to enjoy them from downtown Prescott.
Children of all ages will be able to run around and enjoy more than 10 inflatables and over 10 activities and games. Make sure you bring their water-friendly clothes as there will be water games.
Not only will you be able to enjoy music and fireworks but there will be plenty food vendors located at the middle school for your convenience and a beer garden for the adults.
Just so you know the rules ahead of time, no animals, coolers, canopies, outside foods and liquids are permitted but sealed water bottles will be allowed.
General admission is $5 per person and $10 for an unlimited inflatables pass for kids. So fun!
We hope to see all of Prescott come enjoy the beautiful Arizona weather and celebrate your freedom! It will surely be a night to remember.

South Pacific Live Performance
It’s World War II and the US Marines and Navy have stationed a base on a South Pacific island. Soon, a young nurse, Nellie Forbush, falls in love with a middle-aged French plantation owner, Emile de Becque. The two have a troubled romance as Nellie slowly discovers the details of de Becque’s past. Meanwhile, Lieutenant Cable arrives to head a mission to create a spy post on a Japanese-held island. Bloody Mary, the island souvenir dealer, sets Cable up with her daughter, Liat. After Cable refuses to marry the girl, Bloody Mary drags her away to find a new suitor. Soon, Cable must begin his dangerous mission. After considerable thought and pressure, de Becque agrees to be Cable’s guide. In the end, Cable dies but de Becque survives and will live a life of happiness with Nellie. Winner of 10 Tony Awards, including Best Musical & Score and only musical to win all 4 acting categories. Songs include classics:Some Enchanted Evening, There’s Nothing Like A Dame, Younger than Springtime and Bali Hai.
