Prescott Frontier Days Parade
The Prescott Frontier Days Parade is at 9 a.m. July 2 at Courthouse Plaza. Thousands of spectators are expected to gather for the second-largest parade in the state (after the Fiesta Bowl parade). There are more than 200 entries, including the Rodeo Royalty court, with young women adorned in silver and multicolored beaded fringe astride equally decked-out equines; the Prescott Regulators and their Shady Ladies, wearing 1800s cowboy and saloon-girl garb; floats from area church and civic groups; and school marching bands. Country Western Superstar Tanya Tucker is the Grand Marshall of the 129th Prescott Frontier Days Rodeo!
