Bug-A-Boo Bliss Family Night

Bug-A-Boo Bliss Family Night

Do you have little ones that are fascinated by the bug world? If so, the Highlands Center for Natural History’s popular family fun night Bug-A-Boo-Bliss is a night you don’t want to miss!

Beginning with a puppet show introducing the youngest members of the audience to the insect world, this night offers 5 insect investigation stations, including a Night Hike and  the Dead Bug Society, an indoor lounge where attendees will discuss, touch, and explore through a microscope what makes beetles, bees and butterflies different from each other. After moving through the lounge, audience members can continue on to Inspect an Insect Tent, for those who are curious about night insects, and discover which insects are attracted to light at night. Join the Cicada Club and learn all about this beautiful, yet vocal insect. Finish up the insect journey with Create Your Own Bug, a craft station where you will design and create your own insect to take home. “The Highlands Center’s hands-on and interactive programs are fun for curious children and adults alike,” added Cooper.

Admission is $2 for children under 13 and $5 for adults.  For more information, call 928-776-9550 or visit highlandscenter.org.
