The Phoenix Symphony in Prescott
The Phoenix Symphony is coming to Prescott. Music Director Laureate Michael Christie returns to conduct Ottorino Respighis symphonic tone poems Fountains of Rome, romancing Romes famous fountains at different times of the day, and Pines of Rome, depicting pine trees in different locations in Rome. The program also features Verdis powerful Overture to La forza del destiny, The Force of Destiny, and the world premiere of Symphony No. 5 by Daron Hagen, recipient of the 2014 American Academy of Arts and Letters Award, a work commissioned specifically for performance by The Phoenix Symphony Commissioning Club.

Prescott Oktoberfest
Join us for Oktoberfest! There will be food, music, German and other craft brews, etc. The Prescott-Zeitz Germany Sister City Association will have a booth and will be doing a raffle prize drawing for a trip to Germany with Lufhansa German Airlines. All proceeds from the raffle and 25% of the gross proceeds for Oktoberfest will benefit the Prescott Zeitz Sister City Association.
