Historic Whiskey Row Boot Drop

Historic Whiskey Row Boot Drop

Are you looking for a fun FREE event New Years Eve for the whole family? Check out the 5th Annual Historic Whiskey Row Boot Drop in downtown Prescott. What is a boot drop you ask? A 6-foot illuminated cowboy boot will be lowered down to The Palace Buildings 40-foot flagpole to ring in the new year(similar to the ball in New York Times Square).

There are two boot drops, one at 10pm and another at midnight, accompanied by fireworks. There will be event vendors, entertainment and giveaways all night, from 6:00pm to 12:30am. Last year’s event drew thousands of people! The Boot Drop has been a tradition since 1907 and is a growing event that will continue for years to come!
