Skull Valley Loop Challenge
This scenic 54-mile road ride includes more than four thousand feet of elevation gain—offset by four thousand feet of descent. We time each rider, but it is not a race besides your personal race against the clock.
Proceeds from the Skull Valley Loop Challenge benefit Prescott Alternative Transportation. Thanks for riding and supporting our work toward a bicycle and pedestrian friendly central Yavapai community!
The Challenge begins at the historic Prescott Courthouse Square. After leaving town, riders drop into the serenity of Skull Valley before climbing out through the majestic, forested Spars and returning to the Courthouse Square.
As always, we will need the cheerful energy of many volunteers to plan and execute the ride: to register riders, to staff the rest stations and key intersections, to provide support and gear (SAG), and various other small tasks that make this event so special. Please contact us at prescottsaferoutes{at}gmail.com if you would like to join our fun team of Loop Challenge volunteers
Check-in and last-minute registration at 117 W. Goodwin St.: Saturday, Sept. 19 from 5-7pm and also Sept. 20 at 6am.
