Yavapai Humane Society Critter Camp will engage youth (ages 7-10) with shelter pets, educate them about pet safety, understanding cat and dog body language, responsible pet ownership, pet training techniques, animal care and handling, and pet healthcare.

Snacks, activities, and t-shirts provided. Students must bring sack lunch. Space is limited.

Phippen Museum Presents Inspiration to Creation: The Hidden Life Behind Bronze

The Phippen Museum in historic Prescott, Arizona invites you to join them between March 5th and July 17th, 2016, as they present Inspiration to Creation: The Hidden Life Behind Bronze, an amazing collection images of Western sculptors by artist and bronze specialist Erik Petersen and his professional photographer cousin, Willie Petersen.

 

This presentation not only includes these special portraits by the Petersen’s, but it also offers sculpture created by the artists themselves and pieces by other foundry artisans, including John Skurja, Kristin Miller McDonald, Andrea Everheart and Erik Petersen, himself.

So please join the Phippen Museum and take advantage of this unique opportunity to slip behind the scenes and get a glimpse at the hidden life behind bronze. The museum is located only a few minutes north of downtown Prescott, Arizona at 4701 Highway 89 North. Admission is $7 for adults, $6 for AAA members, $5 for students with ID, and free for museum members and children twelve and under.
