United Way’s role is to recruit people and organizations in communities who bring passion, expertise and resources to get things done. Solutions are cultivated from within communities, building on their experiences and passions, while also having the ability to draw on effective solutions from 1,800 communities and to take good ideas to scale in any one of the 41 countries and territories. It takes all of us – people, government, business and nonprofits working in partnership to tackle social change.
United Way of Yavapai County works to advance the common good by creating opportunities for a better life for all by focusing on the three building blocks for a good quality of life – education, income and health. We are recruiting people and organizations who bring the passion, expertise and resources needed to get things done and we need you to join us. You can give, you can advocate and you can volunteer.
At this event there will be networking, food, raffles, a silent auction, music by Don Cheek & the Cheektones and a ton of fun.
